Stuller now offers the GemCam Imaging System. Priced at $499, it takes high definition 360-degree photos and videos of gemstones and diamonds.
Lafayette, La.--Stuller now offers a gem and diamond imaging system that will allow its customers to take even better photos and videos of their products.

The supplier has become the exclusive North American distributor of the GemCam Imaging System, with the exception of New York.

It allows jewelers, through the use of an app on their smartphone, to take high definition, 360-degree photos or videos that can be saved and shared when they are with customers.

It’s a lightweight, portable device with a durable carrying case that operates on a long-lasting rechargeable battery.

Additional features include a zoom up to 40x, similar to microscope quality to allow for clear identification of inclusions, built-in LED white lights, image cropping tools and gem gripping from 2 mm to 16 mm.

It is priced at $499.

Editor’s Note: This story was update on Nov. 21, 2017, to reflect that Stuller is not the exclusive distributor of the product in the state of New York as the supplier previously misstated.
