Mumbai, India--The All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation awarded Hari Krishna Exports’ diamond jewelry brand Kisna with its 2014 Paramparik (Traditional) Jewelry of the Year Award for the west.
The award was presented at a ceremony held on Feb. 21 at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel in Mumbai as part of the federation’s National Jewellery Awards.
“We are pleased to receive the Paramparik (Traditional) Award. It signifies our strong presence in the west zone,” said Ghanshyam Dholakia, managing director of Hari Krishna Exports. “Awards like these help in recognizing the immense talent, innovation and creativity in the gem and jewelry industry. We thank the GJF, the jury and all those involved in the making of these awards.”
The National Jewellery Awards are divided into four different sections: retailers-jewelry, manufacturers-jewelry, students and jewelers.
The Kisna diamond jewelry brand is owned and manufactured H. K. Jewels Pvt. Ltd., a Hari Krishna Group company. The flagship brand of Hari Krisha also won Indian Jeweller magazine’s jewelry brand of the year in its Jewellers Choice Design Awards last month.
It is now the largest distributed diamond brand in the domestic Indian market, available in more than 6,000 retailers through 450 distributors, according to the company.
