New York--Christie’s is selling more than 100 lots of jewelry, watches and evening bags in another online-only auction, which is taking place now through July 1 on its website.

Internet-exclusive jewelry sales are becoming a new constant for Christie’s, which first introduced the idea in 2013 and has concluded four online sales to date, offering pieces from Van Cleef & Arpels, Chopard, Cartier and Rolex, among others.

Leading this sale are two private collections, The Estate of Edgar M. Bronfman and The Collection of Kathleen and Martin Field. The online auction also offers pieces from Bulgari, Cartier, Judith Leiber, Patek Philippe and David Webb.

The anticipated top lot of the auction is the pink sapphire and diamond “Louisa” ring by William Goldberg, which is expected to sell for up to $10,000.

A coral and diamond ring by Sabbadini has a pre-sale high estimate of $7,000, as does a diamond, ruby and sapphire “Hawaii” brooch by Van Cleef & Arpels.

“Online auctions are a perfect platform to engage new and experienced collectors from around the world by offering a wide variety of quality vintage and modern jewels at accessible prices,” said Daphne Lingon, senior vice president and senior specialist for Christie’s jewelry. “The inclusion of evening bags and watches make the Brilliant Jewels sale a wonderful way to explore all this collecting category has to offer.”
