New York--The world’s largest Easter Egg Hunt taking over New York City, a few events held by jewelry brands in Manhattan, and the end of the Baselworld tradeshow were the big highlights in the industry this week.
The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt began Tuesday, with more than 250 eggs designed and handcrafted by artists, designers, architects and brands placed throughout the five boroughs for participants to discover. The brand hosted a champagne reception at its boutique on Madison Avenue to celebrate the start of the hunt, which runs through April 25.
Also in New York, Amprali held an event at the Plaza Hotel Thursday to launch a new collection. All pieces were for sale, except one that was available in a silent auction, to benefit Future Brilliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the development of artisans. The same night, Circa held its “Scotches and Watches” event at Michael Jordan’s The Steak House NYC to showcase a curated selection of both.
