JFC to host comedy event during JA show

October 21, 2013

New York--Jewelers for Children (JFC) and the organization Gen-Next Jewelers are partnering with New York City’s Gotham Comedy Club to host an All Star Comedy showcase to benefit children in need.

The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, the evening of opening day of the JA New York Special Delivery show, which is scheduled for Oct. 27 to 29 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

Guests from within and outside the jewelry industry are invited to attend the comedy show.

Featured comedians include Gary Gulman, Ryan Hamilton, Keith Alberstadt and Jesse Joyce.

Tickets are $35 each, in addition to a two-drink minimum. They can be purchased at JFCStandup.com.

Founded in 1999, JFC raises money for donation to a number of children’s charities including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America and the National CASA Association.

JA Special Delivery is the largest cash-and-carry show serving the Northeast and offers true, immediate delivery, allowing for re-stocking just before the holiday selling season. Nearly 500 vendors will exhibit at this year’s show. Retailers attending have the opportunity to capitalize on the most current selection of fine jewelry, gifts and timepieces without having to worry about late or partial delivery.
