The Edge hosting three-day seminar in Conn.

Shelton, Conn.--Retailers who use The Edge software are eligible to attend a three-day seminar taking place in late February-early March at The Edge headquarters in Shelton. 

The seminar, hosted by The Edge and The Edge Retail Academy, is scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27 to March 1 and is only for jewelers who use The Edge. 

The cost is $495 and includes materials, a delegates’ dinner, and lunch and refreshments during the day. Lodging is at the attendees’ expense but special rates are available at seven local facilities, some of which offer free shuttle service. Cut-off dates for special rates may apply. 

Dick Abbott, of Abbott & Shapiro, the company that developed The Edge, said the seminar will teach jewelers how to best use The Edge to reduce discounting, develop more loyal customers, motivate sales staff and minimize the accumulation of non-performing inventory. 

The Edge headquarters are located at 3 Corporate Dr. in Shelton.
