WJA intros individual international membership

March 31, 2014

New York--The Women’s Jewelry Association announced Wednesday that it is now offering individual membership for women in the jewelry industry based outside of the United States.

Previously, jewelry professionals living abroad could only join if they were located in countries where the WJA already had chapters, in Italy and India. Now, international membership is now open for individual anywhere to join directly through the website.

To celebrate the new membership and introduce business people overseas to WJA, three executives--President Andrea Hansen, Vice President of Membership Development Fran Pennella, and Past Board President Yancy Weinrich--hosted a cocktail party at Baselworld on Saturday at the Swissôtel Basel, located across the street from the show.

International memberships are available for $75 on the WJA website.

The benefits for international members include access to members-only grants; discounts on education, networking, and other events; mentorship and leadership development through a private online community; and access to WJA’s online member directory, among other member-to-member benefits.
