2012-03-01

Lafayette, La.--Jeff High, the president and founder of jewelry software company Gemvision, is relocating to Stuller Inc. headquarters where he will join the company’s executive team.

In Lafayette, High will assume the role of executive vice president, Gemvision and innovation solutions. He will continue his responsibilities with Gemvision, a company he founded in 1990 that is headquartered in Davenport, Iowa, while also coordinating the activities between it and Stuller. In his innovation solutions role, he will use his knowledge and experience to enhance the role of digital technology in the jewelry industry.

“Jeff’s wealth of experience on the technology side of the industry aligns perfectly with our goal of bringing the latest in virtual solutions to independent retailers,” said Stuller President and CEO Jay Jackson. “We’re excited that he’s accepted our invitation to relocate to Lafayette and look forward to the valuable insight he’ll bring to our operation.”

Gemvision is the company Stuller, a manufacturer and Diamond Trading Co. sightholder, partnered with in 2009 to produce CounterSketch Studio, a 3-D jewelry design platform that allows retailers to work alongside customers to create custom jewelry pieces.

“Gemvision and Stuller share a passion of providing innovative solutions for jewelers,” High said. “Our partnership thus far has produced impressive results, and I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to work more closely with this team.”
