Skater Gold named as Pandora ambassador
Columbia, Md.--Figure skater Gracie Gold is Pandora’s new brand ambassador, and as part of the partnership may make in-store promotional appearances and assist in the brand’s marketing efforts.
Gold is a 2013 United States figure skating silver medalist, and has also won the titles of 2012 Rostelecom Cup silver medalist and 2012 World Junior silver medalist.
“Bringing in enormous success with our NBC ice skating sponsorship ‘Pandora’s Unforgettable Moments on Ice,’ America continues to provide their love for figure skating. We’re thrilled to stand beside Gracie as she continues on her journey to lead our U.S. figure skating team to the top,” Angel Ilagan, vice president of marketing at Pandora North America, said.
Gold joins Pandora’s current brand ambassadors, U.S. gymnast captain Aly Raisman and 2012 U.S. figure skating champion Ashley Wagner.
“I have had so many unforgettable moments in my life and skating career. How wonderfully fitting to represent Pandora jewelry, whose mission is to help women of all ages celebrate their individual life experiences,” Gold said.
