David Yurman moves into Canadian market

December 17, 2013

The new David Yurman boutique in Toronto features modern architecture and aims to reflect the brand’s “luxurious-yet-relaxed aesthetic,” the jewelry company said.

New York--Popular jewelry brand David Yurman opened its first boutique in Canada on Dec. 12, at Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Center.

The 1,837-square-foot store offers all David Yurman’s classic collections in gold and sterling silver, including timepieces.

One-of-a-kind pieces, limited-edition jewelry and wedding collection pieces also will be part of the store’s selection.

“We’re proud to make a home for ourselves in Toronto. The decision to expand into the market was driven by a loyal and avid following of Canadian clients that have been shopping with us for years in the U.S. We’re thrilled to be a part of this diverse and vibrant community, and look forward to introducing our brand to an entirely new customer base,” said Carol Pennelli, chief commercial officer at David Yurman.

There are now 30 David Yurman retail locations throughout the United States, France, China and Canada.
