New York--The Indian & Diamond Colorstone Association (IDCA) has a new executive committee following the organization’s Oct. 25 meeting.

Nimish Mehta, president of Atit Diamond Corp., was unanimously elected as president, while Haridas Kotahwala is the new vice president. Prakash Mehta was elected secretary and Mehul Shah joint secretary, while Gopal Agrawal was elected treasurer.

Elected as directors were: Shekhar Bhansali, Fairway Diamond Inc.; Anu Hirawat, Vimco Diamond Corp.; Nitin Jobanputra, Sanghavi Diamonds Inc.; Basant Johari, Kuber Mfg. Inc.; Vinod Kotahwala, Vinod Kotahwala, Inc.; Sanjay Kothari, Interjewel USA Inc.; Sourabh Lashkery, Gemorex International Inc.; Nilesh Sheth, Nice Diamonds and Rayaz Takat, Takat Gems USA Inc.

The IDCA is a New York-based not-for-profit formed two decades ago that aims to support and promote the businesses of diamonds and colored stones for its member companies, which currently number between 60 and 75.
