JA members to receive free IDEX diamond prices
New York--Jewelers of America (JA) has announced a partnership with the International Diamond Exchange (IDEX), and will now offer its members the latest diamond pricing information and a subscription to the weekly IDEX Diamond Price Report free of charge.
“What is perfect about our price report is that it takes hundreds of thousands of data points from thousands of industry players and applies standard statistical tools to generate the report,” Ehud Cohen, chairman of IDEX Online, said. “It is driven solely by objective and consistent methodologies … It is high time the industry receives a price tool that reflects the market objectively.”
As part of the partnership, IDEX will also offer JA members up to 50 percent off IDEX Online subscriptions, which includes the largest online diamond inventory in a commission-free trading environment, markets reports and research on a variety of business topics.
“JA members often comment that they want easily accessible, real-time diamond pricing information, and this new partnership with IDEX provides just that,” Robert Headley, JA chief operating officer, said.
More information about the JA/IDEX partnership can be found on the JA website here.
Founded in 2000, IDEX Online provides trading services and content for the diamond industry. The company holds offices in all major diamond centers globally and has an online diamond inventory valued at more than $4 billion.
