Roberto Coin, Turlington partner for ad campaign
New York--Model Christy Turlington Burns will be the face for Roberto Coin’s upcoming 2011-2012 advertising campaign, debuting this October and featuring jewelry from six of the designer’s collections.
“This innovative campaign expresses individual ways of being a woman, such as extremely chic, elegant or casual but with a common soul, the passion for art and style,” Roberto Coin, co-founder of Roberto Coin, Inc., said. “I want to dedicate this campaign to all women as an opportunity to explore new ways of feeling glamorous.”
The ads will feature jewelry from Coin’s Primavera, Bollicine, Cento Diamonds, Fantasia, Animalier and Ipanema collections. This will be the third time Turlington partners with the designer for a campaign.
Turlington, who has appeared on the cover of more than 1,000 fashion publications, is also a pioneer of women’s rights and involved in numerous charitable organizations, including (PRODUCT) RED. Her own charity, Every Mother Counts, focuses on the increased awareness, education and support for maternal and child health.
“Christy embodies the spirit of the Roberto Coin woman,” Peter Webster, co-founder of Roberto Coin, Inc., said. “She is multi-faceted as she is a wife, a mother, a successful business woman, women’s rights advocate and the girl next door.”
The campaign will launch this month in publications including Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Town & Country.
