New York--Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney married Nancy Shevell on Oct. 9 with a Neil Lane eternity vintage style diamond band, featuring 5 carats of square-cut diamonds set in platinum.

McCartney, 69, and Shevell, 51, were married in a small civil ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in London, according to the Associated Press. A reception followed at McCartney’s home, with guests that included Beatle Ringo Starr and Barbara Walters.

This is McCartney’s third marriage--he was wed to Linda Eastman from 1969 until her death in 1998, and married Heather Mills in 2002, divorcing in 2008. Shevell was previously married to Bruce Blakeman, a former New York Senate Republican candidate.

Neil Lane is a popular designer among celebrities, having made engagement or wedding jewelry for stars such as Nicole Richie, Portia de Rossi, Ellen DeGeneres, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Sandra Bullock, Brooke Shields and Jennifer Hudson.
