Vancouver--Roberto Coin has opened its first Canadian boutique, located at the Four Seasons hotel here. The opening marks the designer’s ninth store in North America.

“We are excited about our continued expansion in North America and thrilled to bring our new and returning clients a more luxurious taste of Roberto Coin,” Peter Webster, co-owner of the new boutique, said. “The Canadian market provides us with a great opportunity to heighten and diversify this global brand.”

The 900-square foot boutique’s interior will follow the same design layout as recently launched stores in Palm Desert and Newport Beach, Calif., which include a “Roberto Coin Centro Diamond” corner, a new concept specific to these locations and openings in Moscow and Prague. The corner specializes in Coin’s unique 100-facet diamonds.

The Vancouver store will also offer multiple Roberto Coin collections, including Primavera, CapriPlus, Animalier and Appassionata. Coin’s new Haute Couture Collection, which features pieces designed in 18-karat yellow or white gold with diamonds, sapphires and semiprecious stones, will also be available at the boutique.

A grand opening was held at the new store Feb. 2, with Webster, clients and press in attendance, including Look Magazine and Fashion Magazine.

Designer Roberto Coin has been making jewelry since 1977, and his jewelry is available in more than 400 stores worldwide.
