Seminars set for Jan. 22-24 at JANY show
New York--Jewelers of America (JA) will host a number of events at the JA New York Winter Show, scheduled to take place Jan. 22-24 at the Javits Convention Center here.
As JA New York’s education sponsor, JA will be presenting two days worth of jewelry-related discussions with topics covering jewelry trends, marketing, business management and legislative advocacy. Industry speakers include Jim Ackerman of Ascend Marketing and Robert Clements of E-Myth Benchmark.
In addition, JA in-house experts will present a series of seminars: “Fashionista-in-Training,” focused on this season’s fashion and fine jewelry trends, “Wedding Trends 2012” and “The Politics of Jewelry,” which will cover tips to help jewelers speak out on legislation that impacts their businesses. The seminars will take place Jan. 22-23.
Show attendees can also stop by the JA booth to view and vote on entries in The CASE Awards, JA’s national retailer design competition and the organization’s “member lounge” will offer attendees refreshments and a place to meet with clients.
Additional information about the show can be found on the JA New York Winter Show website.
