Providence Jewelers Club announces new officers
East Providence, R.I.--The Providence Jewelers Club has named David White of Butler & Messier Insurance in Pawtucket, R.I., as director of its board.
The decision was made during the club’s annual meeting on Feb. 7. Re-elected to the board for a period of three years is John Antonacci of the Advanced Chemical Company in Warwick, R.I.
The board also elected the following officers to serve a one-year term: Ed DeCristofaro of L.D.C., Inc., Providence, R.I., as president; Brenda Gamba of the Jewelers Board of Trade, Warwick, R.I., as vice president; Cheryl Antonacci of Lee’s Manufacturing Company, Inc. Providence, R.I., as treasurer; and John Kelley, III of Kelley Metals Corporation, East Providence, R.I. as secretary.
Through the Rhode Island Foundation, the Providence Jewelers Club also donated $2,084 to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and $1,000 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Founded in 1952, the Providence Jewelers Club creates social events that allow members and guests to network in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.
