Merrick, N.Y.--The Centurion Jewelry Show, which took place Jan. 29-31 in Scottsdale, Ariz., reported a record year for the tradeshow, which was held in Scottsdale for the first time.

“Our first year in Scottsdale recorded record numbers,” Howard Hauben, Centurion president, said. “Full-pass retailers staying at our show hotel leaped by 31 percent, and some 300 total invited retail stores attended.”

Annual events held at the show included the 2012 Emerging Designer Awards, educational programs and the retailer New Account Incentive Program. Centurion also introduced an online catalog and a new app, via the Living Trade Show, at the show.

“The show aisles were busy and our last show day, Jan. 31, was the busiest we’ve ever had,” Hauben said. “Many exhibitors were still occupied when the show closed at 6 p.m.”
