Couture calls for nominees for Human Spirit Award
New York--Nominations are now open for the 2012 Couture Human Spirit Award, which honors and celebrates an individual who stands out in the jewelry industry.
The award will be presented to a person who is exemplary as a leader in the jewelry community; demonstrates a long-standing commitment to the needs of the industry; gives selflessly to humanitarian efforts; carves a niche for inspiring others; uses their voice, commitment and ideals to set an example; and demonstrates a consistent standard of excellence in business practices.
Previous recipients of the award have been Gerald Goldwyn of Eiseman Jewels in Dallas, Marie Helene Morrow of Reinhold Jewelers in Puerto Rico and Cathy Tivol of Tivol Jewelers in Kansas City, Mo.
The Human Spirit Award will be presented during the Couture Design Awards event on June 2 in the Encore Ballroom of the Wynn Las Vegas from 6-8 p.m.
Submissions can be entered here, and must be in no later than April 20. Only one nominee per company will be accepted.
