Seattle--Amazon.com Inc. released on Friday its annual “Best of” list for 2011, naming its best-selling and most-coveted products for the year across all categories, including watches and jewelry.

According to the list, the best-selling watch on Amazon.com in 2011, based on total number of units sold, was the Timex T5J151 1440 Sports Digital Watch while the best-selling jewelry item was the “designer-inspired” silver heart charm toggle bracelet.

The watch most added to customers’ wish lists and registries on Amazon.com last year was the G-Shock X-Large Military Series watch.

The most wished-for piece of jewelry, meanwhile, was a sterling silver marcasite and gemstone-colored glass heart pendant.

The most popular watch ordered as a gift on the website was the Lego Kids’ Star Wars Darth Vader mini-figure alarm clock. The most gifted jewelry item was a 14-karat yellow gold-plated open-heart pendant inscribed with the phrase: “A mother holds her child’s hand for a short while and their hearts forever.”

Finally, the products reviewed most positively by Amazon.com customers in 2011 included the Casio AWG100-1A G-Shock Multi-Band Solar Atomic Analog watch and the tungsten carbide comfort-fit flat wedding band.
