Bridgeport, Conn.--Gesswein, a supplier of tools, equipment and supplies for metalworking industries, has announced the opening of the company’s new headquarters here.

The new 44,000 square-foot headquarters provides a more collaborative working environment, allowing Gesswein to consolidate its operations under one roof and provide customers with the benefit of same-day shipping, the company reports.
 
“Consolidating our inventory and staff will generate tremendous operating efficiencies for Gesswein,” Roger Gesswein, Jr., chairman and CEO of Gesswein, said. “The expanded headquarters and office space will also enable us to increase staff and support our growth in the coming years.”

The warehouse also offers world-class customer demonstration and training facilities and room for continued growth. Customers from the tri-state area will have the ability to purchase and pick up merchandise at the building.

“This new facility represents a dramatic improvement from our previous location and will allow us to support the rapidly growing demand for our products.”
