Watch sales tracking service adds 25 brands
Port Washington, N.Y.--LGI Network announced recently that it has added 25 new watch brands to its retailer point-of-sale tracking service, Time Tracker.
Of those 25, 23 are entry-level price point, or fashion, watches priced up to $500. The new brands include Anne Klein, Armitron, Casio, Fossil, Guess, Michael Kors and Timex.
LGI Network is a division of The NPD Group Inc. and provides retail market research for the watch and jewelry industry. Port Washington-based NPD acquired LGI in May 2010.
“Now that LGI Network is part of The NPD Group, we have greater access to point-of-sale data, which has allowed us to introduce different types of information at even more actionable levels,” LGI Network President Fred Levin said.
The new Time Tracker release went live on Feb. 6 and includes three years of history to allow clients to understand the historical dynamics of these brands.
