Harry Winston launches e-commerce site

Harry Winston is selling some of its lower-priced items online.

New York--Luxury retail jeweler Harry Winston has launched an online store where it's offering the relatively less expensive designs in its high-end coffers.

While the highest-priced piece, a diamond "Sunflower Necklace," rings up at $135,000, many of the items, primarily small earrings and pendant necklaces, are priced below $10,000.

The "online salon," as the site has been dubbed, is accessible through HarryWinston.com and can also be viewed through this link, Shop.HarryWinston.com.

Purchases from the site can only be made and delivered within the continental United States.

The retailer's highest-end of pieces, including diamond engagement rings, can be seen on the brand's main portal but are only available for purchase through Harry Winston's retail stores. U.S. locations include stores in Bal Harbour, Fla.; Beverly Hills and Costa Mesa, Calif.; Chicago; Dallas; Honolulu; Las Vegas; and New York.

According to the Luxury Institute's 2007 Luxury Brand Status Index, Harry Winston was rated as the leading luxury jewelry brand among uber-rich consumers. The brand placed first out of 20 luxury brands, including Buccellati, Cartier, David Yurman and Van Cleef and Arpels.
