Barmakian.com is now offering a full line of TAG Heuer watches, which can be purchased online.

Springfield, N.J.--Watch brand TAG Heuer is making its full line of timepieces available at authorized online retailers Tourneau.com and Barmakian.com, an initiative that the company says will make it the first brand to offer an entire line of luxury watches for secure purchase online.

"Our e-commerce plan offers TAG Heuer customers all the convenience of shopping online with the confidence and service they've come to expect from their favorite retailer", Ulrich Wohn, president and chief executive officer of LVMH Watch and Jewelry for North America, said in a release issued on Monday.

After clicking onto the retailer sites, customers will be able to search and shop for the entire line of TAG Heuer watches by series name, style, features, occasion and can even check out the favorite picks from the brand's ambassadors, such as golf star Tiger Woods and tennis champ Maria Sharapova.

Detailed images of the timepieces will be accompanied by a comprehensive list of features as well as a comparison chart that enables shoppers to compare several models at the same time. Online shoppers can also use advanced search options to drill down to even greater detail while perusing the sites.

It was unclear at press time whether the initiative would be limited to the two retailers or expanded to other authorized TAG Heur retailers.

However, the retailers involved in the e-commerce initiative said it will help expand the brand's business into new channels.

"By making their timepieces available at Tourneau.com, TAG Heuer has enabled both our customers and salespeople to extend their relationship beyond the physical walls of our stores," Tourneau Vice President Andrew Block said in the release. "Together we're able to offer watch enthusiasts that rare combination of trusted retailer and trusted brand."

Edward Bush, managing partner of Barmakian Jewelers, said customers will be happy to know that they can now purchase "authentic TAG Heuer timepieces safely and easily at Barmakian.com."

Upon selecting the TAG Heuer brand at Barmakian.com or Tourneau.com, the shopper will see a trademarked, rotating TAG Heuer shield indicating that they are entering an authorized site. The symbol is designed to ensure consumers that they are buying a real TAG Heuer timepiece that is covered under the same warranty and service that they would get from purchasing at their local Barmakian and Tourneau stores, according to the release.
