Three major trade shows are called off, thousands of retail workers are furloughed, and one retailer spreads hope.

Last week, we featured three independent jewelers in a story about how the country’s smaller retailers are coping during COVID-19. One of the retailers interviewed was J.R. Dunn Jewelers in Florida, which gave away these pearl bracelets to health care workers.
New York—Last week, the remainder of the big Las Vegas jewelry trade shows were called off, retailers started furloughing employees in droves, and we attempted to inject some levity into these trying times with a list of 10 jewelry movies to watch.
