Brought To You By The International Antique Jewelers Association

On the heels of the successful launch of The Jewelers Circle, a subscription-based, international online trading platform, the site’s founders are pleased to announce their first ever virtual tradeshow, which will feature The Jewelers Circle subscriber’s exclusive product in a secure, trade-only environment. To take place October 29-November 1, the event, “Expo Drive, Wan Chai,” will be open continuously during show days, and will only be accessible to both subscribers, and approved retailer and trade professionals.

The Jewelers Circle, which was launched on October 9, was formed in order to provide the fine and antique jewelry industry the critical opportunity to both source and sell product during a time when all travel and in-person trade events are currently at a standstill.

The Jewelers Circle is open to approved subscribers throughout the year, and will provide retailers and approved trade professionals with access during their monthly, virtual trade shows. The monthly events have been titled with a nod to iconic jewelry destinations worldwide, such as Rodeo Drive, Burlington Arcade and Via Condotti, and are timed in accordance with the general cadence of in-person trade shows, allowing subscribers to source and sell product on a schedule that has historically proven successful.

Subscribers of The Jewelers Circle include antique jewelry firms, loose gemstone, diamond and Fancy Colored Diamond companies, and purveyors of watches, silver and objets d’art. With an emphasis on establishing and maintaining the integrity of The Jewelers Circle, each subscriber will be thoroughly vetted to ensure all transactions can take place with confidence.

Several trade organizations who understand the value of the platform have already signed on as Associates, including NCDIA, GemGenève, and the Jewelers Gem Society of Singapore.

The development of the Jewelers Circle was spearheaded by the founders of the newly formed International Antique Jewelry Association (IAJA), whose firms exceed a combined experience of 1,000 years. The IAJA is subsidizing the first 3 months of membership for all approved vendors until January 1 of 2021, and thereafter nominal subscription fees will be charged within a tiered structure. There are no commission fees, and retailers and other trade professionals can gain access to the site only during the monthly online events for a flat yearly subscription.
