Brought To You By The International Antique Jewelers Association

The Jewelers Circle, a subscription-based, international online trade platform, launched earlier this month, and approved subscribers are already preparing for the first of the platform’s monthly virtual trade shows. The first event, “Expo Drive, Wan Chai,” will be open continuously during show days, October 29-November 1, and will only be accessible to both Jewelers Circle subscribers, and approved retailer and trade professionals, with prices only visible to these thoroughly vetted members of the trade.

Open to approved subscribers 365 days of the year, the Jewelers Circle will allow subscribers the opportunity to expand their network and increase daily sales throughout the year, and will provide retailers and approved trade professionals with access to these esteemed subscribers’ product during the platform’s monthly, virtual trade shows. The events are timed in accordance with the traditional cadence of in-person events that has historically proven successful, and are certain to become a vital tool for the international jewelry trade during an extraordinary time, when all travel and in-person events are at a standstill.

Subscribers of The Jewelers Circle include antique jewelry firms, loose gemstone, diamond and fancy diamond companies, and purveyors of watches, silver and objets d’art. With an emphasis on establishing and maintaining the integrity of The Jewelers Circle, each subscriber will be thoroughly vetted to ensure all transactions can take place with confidence.

Several trade organizations who understand the value of the platform have already signed on as Associates, including NCDIA, GemGenève, and the Jewelers Gem Society of Singapore.

The development of the Jewelers Circle was spearheaded by the founders of the newly formed International Antique Jewelry Association (IAJA), whose firms exceed a combined experience of 1,000 years. The IAJA is subsidizing the first 3 months of membership for all approved vendors until January 1 of 2021, and thereafter nominal subscription fees will be charged within a tiered structure. There are no commission fees, and retailers and other trade professionals can gain access to the site only during the monthly online events for a flat yearly subscription.
