Brought To You By The International Antique Jewelers Association

The Jewelers Circle, a subscription-based, international online trade platform, launched in early October in order to facilitate secure, online trading of a wide variety of merchandise among highly vetted jewelry professionals. Their first successful event last week prompted universal requests among both subscribers and approved visitors to the site to allow trading to take place throughout the year, and not just during monthly events. In response, the site’s founders are announcing that after next month’s planned event, Rue de la Paix, December 3 to 6, the site will be open to both subscribers and approved retailers and trade professionals 365 days a year.

The Jewelers Circle allows subscribers the opportunity to expand their network and increase daily sales, with prices only visible to thoroughly vetted members of the trade. Subscribers can source and sell products among one another, and approved retailers and trade professionals will have access to these esteemed subscribers’ product. The site has already become a vital tool for the international jewelry trade during an extraordinary time, when all travel and in-person events are at a standstill.

Subscribers of The Jewelers Circle include antique jewelry firms and purveyors of watches, silver and objets d’art, and recently added loose gemstone, pearl, diamond and fancy diamond companies. With an emphasis on establishing and maintaining the integrity of The Jewelers Circle, each subscriber will be thoroughly vetted to ensure all transactions can take place with confidence.

Special events will continue to take place throughout the year in conjunction with the site’s Associates, which include several trade organizations who understand the value of the platform such as NCDIA, GemGenève, and the Jewelers Gem Society of Singapore.

The development of the Jewelers Circle was spearheaded by the founders of the newly formed International Antique Jewelry Association (IAJA), whose firms exceed a combined experience of 1,000 years. The IAJA is subsidizing the first 3 months of membership for all approved vendors until January 1 of 2021, and thereafter nominal subscription fees will be charged within a tiered structure. There are no commission fees, and retailers and other trade professionals can gain access to the site only during the monthly online events for a flat yearly subscription.
