The 100.5-carat diamond recovered from the Letseng mine in Lesotho
London—Gem Diamonds Limited struck it big again.

The diamond miner has announced the recovery of a 100.5-carat, top white color Type IIa diamond from the Letšeng mine in Lesotho, in which the company owns a 70 percent stake.

The most recent discovery is the eleventh diamond weighing more than 100 carats the diamond miner has recovered this year.

This includes the recovery of an exceptional quality 910-carat, D color Type IIa diamond in January.
