The Letšeng mine in the Kingdom of Lesotho has yielded a pair of rough diamonds weighing 162.06 and 161.74 carats, Gem Diamonds Ltd. announced Thursday.
Andre Messika Diamonds was one of 10 companies to receive Israel’s “Outstanding Exporter” award at a ceremony held Feb. 4 at Israel President Shimon Peres’ residence.

For the third year in a row, Leo Schachter Diamonds tops the list of Israel’s polished diamond exporters, figures published recently by the Israel Diamond Controller’s Office show.
