Over 200 Unworn Vintage Swatch Watches Up for Sale
A selling exhibition at Phillips Perpetual in London will be comprised of models created between 1985 and 2004.
London—This month, Phillips Perpetual will sell a collection of never-been-worn vintage Swatch watches in a private selling exhibition.
The “Swatch, The All It Takes Is the Will to Do It Exhibition” comprises more than 200 unworn vintage Swatch timepieces made between 1985 and 2004. They will be up for sale from Oct. 25 to 28 at Phillips’ recently launched Perpetual showroom in London, a store offering watches for purchase all year round.
Highlights of the exhibition include an unworn Tresor Magique Platinum Automatic alongside limited editions like Magic Spell and C-Monsta on the Beach. Art pieces by Tachibana, Kurosawa and Troxler appear alongside editions by British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.
It will also include significant pieces from the 1980s and 1990s, including the popular 37 mm Grand Prix and 34 mm X-rated.
Pieces range in price from approximately $90 to $2,200.
“Swatch, The All It Takes Is the Will to Do It Exhibition” coincides with the London watch auction previews of highlights in the November sales in Geneva and Hong Kong and the December sale in New York.
