Back in New York, a federal jury awarded Tiffany & Co. more than $13 million in damages in its lawsuit against wholesaler Costco, while jewelry brand The Syvlie Collection launched its first national advertising campaign.

An author and explorer talked about his treks to the North Pole at a Citizen event in New York City while a retailer in southern Florida prepared for Hurricane Matthew.
