Ashley.Davis@nationaljeweler.com

As art, antique and design fair Masterpiece London gets underway, we’ve found ourselves turning our attention to Somlo Antiques.
On view at the antique watch specialist’s booth is a contemporary clock by Tom Sole of Sole of London, maker of objets d’art.
The “Rotating Dial Mystery Clock” won a Jacques Cartier Award earlier this year from the Goldsmith Craft and Design Council. It is a hand-wound mechanical clock with an eight-day power reserve.
The clock is made of 18-karat white gold, guilloche enamel, mother-of-pearl and diamonds.
In the video below, watch the numbers pass through the covered segment at the base of the clock face--they rotate to show the next number in the sequence.
Sole of London’s Rotating Dial Mystery Clock is available at Somlo Antiques. Price is available upon request.
