New York was in high gear this week, with multiple trade shows happening. Melee The Show, Metal + Smith and NY Now gave buyers plenty of jewels to consider for the approaching fall and holiday seasons.

NY Now attracts jewelers of the artisanal variety to its Handmade section, such as Petra Class, who designs and crafts her pieces by hand with her team in their San Francisco workshop.

Class’s aquamarine necklace was just one of a number of bold pieces that caught our editorial eye. The faceted gemstones are set in 18-karat and 22-karat gold.

It is priced at $7,800 retail. Contact the studio directly for wholesale or retail inquiries at 415-648-6337.
