Piece of the Week: A Heart-Shaped Pearl
Our editor-in-chief has a whole lotta love for this “Rockin’ Love” pearl and aquamarine ring.
This editor fell in a love a couple weeks ago, with this “Rockin’ Love” ring.
Created by Jennifer Pusenkoff of Jen International, the white gold ring features a heart-shaped mabé pearl framed by a halo of diamonds and two fun surprises.
First, there are a pair of beautiful aquamarines bracketing the pearl that are not visible when viewed from the top. Then, on the back of the band, a secret message—the word “LOVE.”
Pusenkoff entered the ring in the Cultured Pearl Association of America’s design contest this year.
It received an honorable mention, while her “Ocean Diva” necklace, a convertible piece featuring a cascade of Tahitian pearls, blue zircon and labradorite, won two awards.
Read all about the contest here, and see more of Pusenkoff’s highly original designs on her Instagram page.
