Jewelers of America’s Jewelry Information Center hosted an Editor Preview event on Feb. 28 for members of the press to check out the pieces offered by few of its member brands. This spring event included Platinum Guild International, Jacqueline Fine Jewelry, Ti Sento Milano, Mi Moneda, and Le Vian.

Meanwhile, watchmaker 88 Rue du Rhone was the official watch partner for the Miami International Film Festival last weekend.

On March 7, the Swiss watch brand hosted the opening night party for the festival, which was held at the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts in the city, with a number of Hollywood stars in attendance.

88 Rue du Rhone also held an after-party on Sunday for actor John Turturro, known for movies such as Secret Window and O Brother, Where Art Thou?, to fete his Career Achievement Award. The party was held at the Area 31 Restaurant at the Epic Hotel.
