The Kentucky Derby, the annual gala at the Met, a fundraiser in Los Angeles and a WJA Chat & Chill event made for a busy week.

The Kentucky Derby was held Saturday in Louisville, Ky., with watch brand Longines as the official timekeeper.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala, also called the Met Gala, took place Monday in New York. The celebrity-studded annual fundraiser is the opening celebration for the museum’s annual fashion exhibit.

Also in New York, presidents from four major watch brands were featured on a panel Tuesday morning at Bar Pleiades in the Surrey Hotel, kicking off the fourth annual Madison Avenue Watch Week, which continues through Saturday on the Upper East Side.

Finally, Marina B and 100 Women in Hedge Funds held a fundraiser in London while the Women’s Jewelry Association’s Los Angeles chapter had a networking event.
