It was a record-setting week in Geneva for jewelry and watches.

The “Henry Graves Supercomplication” cemented its status as the world’s most expensive watch when it sold for a watch auction record $24 million at Sotheby’s Tuesday, breaking the record it set back in 1999.

That same day, Sotheby’s sold what is now the most expensive sapphire ever purchased at auction while Christie’s Geneva followed Wednesday with the $8.6 million record-setting sale of the 8.62-carat “Graff Ruby.”

See the most precious gems from these auctions and more in this week’s photo rewind.
