It was a busy week at home and abroad in the jewelry industry.

In New Orleans, jeweler Bill Farmer was honored with the American Gem Society’s Robert M. Shipley Award, while across the pond--and some other bodies of water--the inaugural Vicenzaoro Dubai show wrapped up.

Sotheby’s announced it would sell a rare, historic pink diamond next month in Geneva, and Fast-Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs and its CEO parted ways. In addition, Amazon re-launched its business-to-business website, Amazon Supply, as Amazon Business.
