It was a week rife with lawsuits, as the estate for the late Elizabeth Taylor waged a suit against auction house Christie’s and the Swatch Group announced that it would appeal a ruling that voided damages it says Tiffany & Co. owes the company.

H. Stern opened a pop-up boutique in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, and a museum in the Windy City began to display art jewelry from the early 20th century.
