Christie’s announced it will offer a 16.08-carat cushion-shaped fancy vivid pink diamond at its Geneva jewelry auction that is expected to sell for as much as $28 million.

E-commerce site Etsy is launching a marketplace for manufacturers and diamond miner Lucapa announced the unearthing of a 90-carat stone.

In career news, Scott Kay President Michael Benavente, who was tapped to lead the brand in May, left to “pursue another opportunity,” while two promotions were announced at Kansas City, Mo.-based retailer Tivol.
