The female armed thief wanted in a string of jewelry store robberies across the Southeast was arrested last Friday, the same night Jewelers of America held its 14th annual Gem Awards in New York City.

In diamonds news, the trial phase in the ongoing legal battle between Tiffany & Co. and Costco was pushed back until June, and De Beers’ lab-grown diamond arm alleged that IIa Technologies is using its patented diamond-growing techniques without permission.
