Meanwhile, in the world of colored stones, one National Jeweler editor shared her thoughts from the recent Bangkok trade show, Fabergé announced that it was getting into color for bridal and, in big news for the industry, the White House said that it plans to lift the ban on Burmese jade and rubies.

Quality Gold is upping its bridal game with the acquisition of a Chicago-based supplier and The Knot’s parent company purchased a proposal and wedding planning site.
