This week was a big one for National Jeweler, which saw its State of the Majors report launch in both print and online, highlighting the industry’s biggest sellers of fine jewelry as well as providing an analysis of the diamond, jewelry design and gemstone markets.

Meanwhile, JA New York Special Delivery wrapped up in Manhattan with a number of exhibitors reported a strong show, and one National Jeweler editor picked her favorite jewelry from TEFAF’s first New York edition.

The world’s largest D flawless heart-shaped diamond was unveiled and the Diamond Producers Association launched the latest installment in its “Real is Rare” marketing campaign.
