1. What are the priciest places to live in the US? Forbes just released its list of the most expensive ZIP codes in the United States, and a San Francisco suburb tops the list. 

2. Richemont wins fight to block sites selling fakes. The luxury conglomerate notched a “landmark” victory in High Court in London when a judge ruled that Internet Service Providers could be compelled to block sites selling counterfeit merchandise. 

3. How jewelers can use social media safely. Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co. held two webinars last week advising jewelers on what to post and what to hold back on sites including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. 

4. 5 questions with: independent jeweler Morays. Beau Hequin, the seventh-generation owner of Morays Jewelers in Miami, discusses the store’s holiday marketing plans and the biggest challenge facing independents today.

5. Jewelry auction website Bidz to liquidate. This story, which was posted in July, details Inc.’s plans to shut down and sell off its assets after years of financial struggles.
