New York—New York City-based jewelry manufacturer Christopher Designs has appointed Leigh-Anne Brown to lead sales in the mid-southern United States.
In her new role she will be responsible for growing distribution and sales volume in her territory, comprised of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona.
Brown, a Graduate Gemologist, has worked in the fine jewelry industry for 10 years and has a proven track record as a top salesperson in both the business-to-business and business-to consumer arenas, the company said.
Her experience spans both consumer-facing retail and wholesale. She worked as a television host for The Liquidation Channel and The Jewellery Channel and directed sales and built underperforming territories into revenue generators for a prominent manufacturer.
Before joining the industry Brown held various roles in the luxury travel, health and wellness sectors.
She has a Masters of Educational Psychology from University of Texas at Austin, as well as a bachelor’s degree in communications and psychology from the University of Arizona.
“We are thrilled to be adding Leigh-Anne to our sales force,” President and CEO Christopher Slowinski said. “Her knowledge of the product, as well as her experience and ability to tell the story of the brand, will augment our sales force and help drive us to the next level.”
Christopher Designs has a portfolio of proprietary and patented diamond cuts, including the Crisscut and L’Amour Crisscut.
In late February, the company appointed a new chief marketing officer and vice president of sales.
