Wilkerson & Associates Names Josh Hayes VP
Hayes joined the jewelry liquidator in 2004, directly out of college.
Stuttgart, Ark.—Jewelry liquidator Wilkerson & Associates named Josh Hayes as its new vice president at its annual conference in September.
President Richard Hayes previously served as vice president, but the position has been vacant since his promotion last year, a spokesperson confirmed to National Jeweler. Founder Bobby Wilkerson remains chairman of the board.
Hayes joined the company fresh out of college and has worked there for 15 years.
As a business analyst, he gained experience conducting appraisals for banks and lending institutions and has coordinated more than 500 jewelry store liquidations.
“In some cases, I have worked with clients for five years ahead of their retirement or closing,” said Hayes in a statement. “Each business is unique.”
Hayes is a native of the Stuttgart area and attended Southern Arkansas University.
Wilkerson, one of the largest independent national jewelry liquidators by volume, has more than 45 in-house employees, 70 consultants nationwide and has overseen more than 6,000 jewelry store sales in the last 48 years.
