New York--JA New York organizers have moved the 2015 winter show from March to January in order to avoid overlap with other industry trade shows.

The new show dates are Sunday, Jan. 18 through Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Show organizers said the new timing of the show will be beneficial for retailers and buyers after what’s expected to be a strong holiday selling season.

The new dates will make JA New York Winter the first trade show following the holidays, allowing buyers the opportunity to see new products from exhibitors in time to stock up for Valentine’s Day.

“As always, we remain committed to doing what’s best for the industry as a whole and, more specifically, for our customers,” said JA New York Group Show Director Drew Lawsky. “With other trade events competing with our original March dates, we adjusted our dates to accommodate our customers’ schedules and quell any concerns they may have about making a difficult decision regarding what show(s) to participate in or trying to be in two places at once.”

JA New York Winter will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. More information about JA New York’s winter show can be found here.
