Alex and Ani signs on to JCK
The Cranston, R.I.-based jewelry brand will be located in the Four Seasons Hotel adjacent to Mandalay Bay and will be open to all JCK buyers, but by appointment only.
Norwalk, Conn.--Alex and Ani will be exhibiting at the JCK Las Vegas show for the first time this year, and will be open to all JCK buyers, but by appointment only.
The jewelry and bangle brand will not have a booth on the show floor but instead will be located in the Four Seasons Hotel adjacent to Mandalay Bay.
Cranston, R.I.-based Alex and Ani has more than 40 branded stores across the country, and dozens more shop-in-shops at jewelry stores from Connecticut to California. Harlan Kent, the former CEO of Yankee Candle, was named president of the company in March, while founder Carolyn Rafaelian remains CEO.
The brand has been lauded for its growth and direction in the past, being named a “brand to watch” by Brand Innovators last July and included on Inc. Magazine’s list of America’s fastest-growing companies in 2013.
“JCK is an important event for everyone in the jewelry industry,” said Dan Sills, senior vice president of sales at Alex and Ani. “We are looking forward to attending and meeting with retailers from across the country.”
JCK also announced Monday that West Hollywood, Calif. boutique Roseark will join its Design Center at this year’s show, presenting the collections of Roseark & Kathy Rose, Karma el Khalil, Mason Stanley, Elizabeth Street, Yakira Rona and Elisabeth Bell.
Rick Rose of Roseark said he currently is expanding the store’s footprint through a new buy-in program called Roseark Showroom and “first thought of exhibiting at JCK.”
“There is no other show in Vegas we would choose to align our brands with,” he said.
Yancy Weinrich, senior vice president of Luxury at JCK, said the company is pleased Alex and Ani and Roseark have signed on as “both brands have become nothing short of iconic in the realm of personal fashion jewelry, and they are the perfect addition/compliment to the program we are putting forth this year.”
