She also will continue her role as client liaison at RSP Media.
Karlin-Grant brings more than 40 years of experience in the fine jewelry industry to JA New York, having previously served as the show director for the JA New York shows, a consultant for designers and manufacturers, an organizer of the International Jewelry Designers’ Guild, and also as an exclusive distributor of La Nouvelle Bague jewelry.
In addition to adding Karlin-Grant to the team, show organizers are aiming to make the JA New York Winter show in March more robust and energetic by, as previously announced, co-locating with the spring 2016 Lueur antique jewelry and watch show and MJSA Expo.
All three shows are taking place March 13 to 15 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
“We’re already sensing a reinvigorated energy and interest among the exhibitors we’re in touch with on a daily basis, and Judy’s presence on our team will make it easier and more attractive than ever for retailers to attend our shows,” said Drew Lawsky, group show director for JA New York shows. “Given that this is a year-round position, Judy will also enhance our ability to be in communication with our retailers throughout the year, thereby benefiting all of our shows.”
